Public Authorities are one of the most influential bodies who can change the built environment and the way in which engineering principles are adopted. For example, educational establishments in particular are governed by choices made by Public Authorities.
At Barter Hill, we have completed a number of successful projects in the Public Authority sector. We delivered engineering services to assist Essex County Council in their plans to replace temporary classrooms. We also undertook alteration and extension work at Ellen Wilkinson School, North London, and have refurbished existing schools on behalf of London Borough of Brent.

Epping Forest College
In this project, Epping Forest College, asked us to provide engineering services for preparation of a scheme for a new sixth form college. The proposed construction is a steel-framed building on piles.
London Borough of Harrow
We provided engineering services for Cedars School, Harrow. The project involves the refurbishment and construction of a prestige building extension using sustainable materials. The resulting property will be a statement building, with award-winning potential.
